About the artist…

Emily O’Day is a painter and woodworking artist who lives and works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2021, Emily graduated from Moore College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fine Art. Throughout her educational career, she has explored figurative painting, large metal sculpture techniques such as forging, welding and plasma cutting, and woodworking used to aid sculptural works.

Emily has been featured in the Art Student Exhibition at the William Way Community Center in Philadelphia in 2020, as well as the Philadelphia Wall Exhibition at Moore College of Art and Design in 2020.
